Skylarks’ Managing Director Aaron Guiver to judge at Great British Care Awards

We’re excited to share that Aaron Guiver, Managing Director of Skylarks, has been selected to join the judging panel for the 2024 Great British Care Awards. Aaron will be part of the London judging round on 17th October and the East Midlands round on 22nd October. These awards celebrate the outstanding work happening across the care sector in the UK.

The Great British Care Awards recognise individuals and organisations who show exceptional dedication, skill and compassion in their work, making a real difference to the lives of those needing care and support. Aaron’s involvement reflects Skylarks' commitment to improving standards, particularly for children and young people with additional needs.

As a judge, Aaron will be reviewing finalists across various categories, helping to identify those who go above and beyond in their roles. While judging is voluntary, it offers the rewarding opportunity to hear firsthand from those on the frontline of care and connect with like-minded professionals.

Aaron commented: "It’s an honour to be part of this process and witness the incredible efforts within the care sector. The dedication, compassion and innovation shown by this year’s nominees is truly inspiring. At Skylarks, we’re passionate about providing the highest level of support and being involved in an event that celebrates those who also share this vision is a privilege."

This year is a standout for Skylarks in terms of awards, with the organisation being named a finalist in three prestigious competitions across the UK and Europe. This recognition highlights the team’s hard work in supporting children, young people and their families.

We wish all the nominees the best of luck and look forward to celebrating the winners, who will go on to the National Finals on 22nd March 2024 at the ICC in Birmingham. Stay tuned for updates on Aaron’s journey as a judge and join the conversation online using #gbcareawards.
