About Claire
Claire has always enjoyed a natural affinity with health and wellbeing. Feeling inherently guided by what felt “right” for her body from a young age, she has
prioritised wellness throughout her life.
While she dabbled with yoga in her younger years, it was not until her thirties and the birth of her second son that she forged a profound and transformative connection with the practice.
As a mother, yoga became an integral part of Claire’s life – a vital source of self-identity that fostered within her a deep sense of calm, peace, and safety, representing a return ‘home’ to both body and mind.
Motivated by this deep connection, Claire’s inspiration for teaching was born from a wish to share some of the wonderful gifts of yoga with her sons.
Inspired by the classical Hatha yoga tradition, as well as Yin yoga, restorative and somatic practices, Claire’s teaching style is kind and nurturing, revolving around the
heartfelt belief that yoga and wellbeing is for everyone and every ‘body.’
Claire has recently broadened her focus to include holistic therapy and coaching, incorporating breathwork, relaxation, and meditation into her wider practice. While her coaching journey is in its nascent stages, she aims to empower women within a secure, non-judgmental space, fostering health, self-discovery, and personal growth.
