All Aboard Club at Greenwood Centre, Hampton

Run by All Aboard Club
Richard from All Aboard Club (formerly known as the Engine Shed) brings his trains to some of our special sessions!

All Aboard Club is a special interest group for children and young people with autism and ADHD who love trains.

All Aboard Club will be bringing their huge train sets for the children to build and play with in a welcoming, safe and relaxing environment.

Children can both play with existing sets or build their own layout.

They have loads of Brio, Ertl and Tomy layouts to play with.

This activity takes place in different venues, so please check carefully.

We are running a special session in the summer holidays on Tuesday 30th July at The Greenwood Community Centre in Hampton

Wednesday 28th August, All Hallows Twickenham 10 - 11.15am and 11.30 - 12.45pm

Please note, as with all Skylarks activities, anyone is welcome! Children with autism or any other additional needs, their siblings and parents, from any borough. We suggest a minimum age of 4 years old, so that the children can focus on playing with trains and enable all children to enjoy this activity.

This activity is free of charge but donations are appreciated.

We ask that parents stay on-site to supervise their children. There will be one or two members of staff from All Aboard Club and one or two members of staff/volunteers from Skylarks present, but parents are still responsible for their children.

One parent who attended previously said:  "I was having a terrible day/week with my son, I had to carry him from the car park to the centre and on arrival he was really upset and aggressive. I took him in and he calmed down and played with the trains non stop for well over and hour without coming to me, he was so happy. It was the only rest I had for days. Thank you so much for arranging this as we have travelled far in the past to access".
