We Are Pleased To Offer Music Therapy Groups With Edison From Otakar Kraus Music Trust on Tuesdays at the Crossway Centre
As part of our Fair Access Policy, each Family Is Requested To Only Book One Or Two Music Therapy Sessions And To Leave Space For Other Families. If There Are Still Spaces Available Later, You Are Welcome To Book Again.
The times of the music sessions are:
Group 1 - 4.15 – 4.35pm
Group 2 - 4.35 – 4.55pm
Group 3 - 5.00 – 5.30pm - This final session is a 'booked course' for half a term (up to 7 weeks)
*The final session before the half term break will be a Drumming Session on all three time slots*
Edison qualified as a Music Therapist at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama completing a Department of Health approved Diploma in Music Therapy ( SRAsT(M) and also is registered with the HCPC ( Health and Care Professions Council). Edison works for the Otakar Kraus Music Trust with children and adults with a wide range of conditions. He has many years of experience as a music therapist and teacher and is the Music Director at the Otakar Kraus Music Trust. He has developed the IRP technique, a unique teaching method which has achieved great success in schools in England, India and Brazil.

You are also welcome to come to our Play Session, use the Sensory Room or join in Drama or Karate, all of which also happen in our building on Tuesday afternoons. These book your place on the Stay and Play session separately. It can be booked online. Please see our e-newsletters for the links.
